Henry S. Hale, REALTOR®,
has enjoyed living in Oxford
for over 20 years.

Not one to want to be far from the water - his family home is on Martha's Vineyard - Henry first came to Oxford aboard his trawler Rambler. He soon worked his way up in the community, first as a firefighter, then Captain and then Chief of the Oxford Volunteer Fire Company (OFC), as a member of the Oxford Community Center Board, and then as an eleven year member of the Oxford Board of Port Wardens. In 2004, Henry was elected to a three year term as Town Commissioner. Last year he achieved Life Member status in the Fire Company, was a Top Fire and Emergency Services Responder for the 15th year in a row, and is currently serving on the OFC Building Fund Committee.
Henry and his wife, Sandy, live with their three dogs on Banks Street in Oxford. In September, 2003, their home was destroyed by Hurricane Isabel. The two year rebuilding process provided Henry an opportunity to become familiar with local planning and zoning regulations, and further sparked his interest in real estate. His experience as past Commissioner, coupled with his extensive boater's knowledge of the 600 plus miles of Talbot County waterfront, makes him a natural choice to be your REALTOR®. Please give him a call at 410/829-3777, or email him at henry@haleproperty.com and let him help you find the perfect Eastern Shore home. As Henry says, "Why would you want to live anywhere else?".
